I came up with this idea a couple months ago after hearing just how small NASA's budget is.
Purchase bulk rate rides on Virgin Galactic's Sub-Orbital flights Or the other private endeavors when able with the ride and throw in like 50,000 dollars for travel expenses. For a mere 1.5 million you could obtain 5+prizes dependent on bulk rates.
The billions that people use to play lotteries could be used to implement programs that the US government is unwilling to fund.If the first run does good maybe add a ride in a Dragon capsule for a yearly Grand Prize. I don't know about anyone else but i would play this til i died. You can kill 3 birds with one stone here. Raise incredible amounts of cash and promote private space operations and general interest in space. Dependent on the health of the ticket holder or other issues cash equivalent prizes could be substituted. I am disabled and have a limited income but i would so devote my life to seeing this happen. If you run with this idea please consider me for running this.
